Maybeshewill (UK) announce first ever Australian tour

Bird's Robe are excited to present the first ever Australian tour for UK post-rock legends Maybeshewill.Maybeshewill is James Collins, Matthew Daly, John Helps, Robin Southby and Jamie Ward. Over the course of the last 8 years they?ve worked tirelessly through endless touring and three full-length albums to build a loyal and enthusiastic following across the world. Sticking to a steadfastly DIY ethos the band have self recorded all their material to date and aspire to be as self-sufficient as possible.Touring has been fundamental to Maybeshewill. They?ve covered the UK and mainland Europe extensively as well as Russia, China and Japan with the likes of 65daysofstatic, ...And You Will Know Us By Trail of Dead, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Earthtone9, Lite, Long Distance Calling and The Ocean (amongst many others). So perhaps it's fitting their first ever Australian tour comes in the midst of an epic 60+ date world tour in support of their forthcoming new album.

Their fourth studio album ?Fair Youth? will be released on 25 August 2014 through Superball Music (?Trail of Dead, 65daysofstatic, Oceansize).
Maybeshewill will be joined by Sydney's Solkyri for all dates, themselves touring in support of 2013 debut Are You My Brother?

?Not only is their wellspring of underlying grandeur being tapped, it?s also clear that there?s even greater things to come?? Kerrang?Noisy brilliance that gets right inside the battered crevices of your skull and pounds on the sides?? NME?There?s both a haunting beauty and a fun likeability about the band?- Big CheeseMAYBESHEWILL AUSTRALIAN TOUR - SEPT 2014with special guests SolkyriSep 28 @ Crow Bar, Brisbane QLDTickets from www.oztix.com.auSep 29 @ Newtown Social Club, Sydney NSWTickets from www.newtownsocialclub.comSep 30 @ Northcote Social Club, Melbourne VICTickets from www.northcotesocialclub.com
