Vampillia (Japan) announce 2015 Australian tour

Japan?s VAMPILLIA have announced their return to Australia, performing headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne as well as the 2015 Adelaide Festival.Vampillia turn classical music into hardcore - famous for their aggressive, chaotic performances with three eccentric vocalists, a body painted dancer, a macho man with a saw in his hand and a drug queen noise violinist, they call themselves the 'brutal orchestra'.After a sold-out Australian tour in 2010 and appearances at SXSW in 2011 and 2012, the band is celebrating the Australian release of the Pitchfork-approved album Alchemic Heart and the recent Rule The World/Deathtiny Land.Their folk-circus-metal-opera blend presents an indescribable live show - if you don't understand, you need to come see them.Their side shows will be supported by folk-prog-metal outfit TROLDHAUGEN who are riding high after the release of their latest album Obzkure Anekdotez For Maniakal Massez and a 24-date European tour with pirate-metal giants ALESTORM.Local supports in Sydney include experimental 7-piece Shanghai, as well as avant-garde outfit Pirate, and a once-off reunion of Sydney?s euphoric instrumental rock outfit Panzer Queen. In Melbourne, further supports will be announced soon.sppears and Rule The World/Deathtiny Land are out now through Bird's Robe RecordsVampillia Australian tour with special guestsMarch 2 @ Newtown Social Club, Sydneyw/Troldhaugen + ShanghaiTickets from newtownsocialclub.comMarch 3 @ Factory Floor, Sydney w/Troldhaugen + Panzer Queen + PirateTickets factorytheatre.com.auMarch 4 @ The Tote, Melbourne w/TroldhaugenTickets from thetotehotel.comMarch 5 @ The Tote, Melbourne w/TroldhaugenTickets from thetotehotel.comMarch 6 @ Adelaide Festival, Freemasons Hall, Adelaide w/Fourteen Nights At Sea + Trash McSweeney & Alix KolTickets from adelaidefestival.com.auWatch: heyoah https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vMtHrrMv3IListen: Rule The World/Deathtiny Land http://birdsrobe.bandcamp.com/album/rule-the-world-deathtiny-land
