Unfortunately the impact of Brexit (the UK leaving the European Union) is going to be felt on our business and artist businesses soon.
Import charges are set to increase from January 2021, as well as a significant increase in paperwork and administration.
The VAT (value-added tax) applicable to items sold to UK customers will now be applied to all items, instead of only items above 15GBP value.
As a seller, we also need to register for a UK-specific tax and tariff number.
As a result, shipping charges for music & merch sent to the UK will have to increase from January 2021.
SO if you are thinking of buying or pre-ordering anything from a Bird's Robe artist, please consider doing it in 2020 to save yourself some money and us some time & hassle!
ALSO for people considering buying items in time for Christmas, here are the latest recommended purchase dates provided to us by Australia Post:
