"Bird's Robe: This is Family" - Episode 4: Meniscus

Australian music company Bird's Robe have released the 4th episode in their ‘Bird’s Robe: This Is Family’ documentary series. The series celebrates 15 years of the label, as well as the stories of its flagship artists.

Episode 4 diverts from the chronological story of the label to feature Meniscus, one of the most revered and beloved artists in the Bird’s Robe family. The episode tracks the band from their origins to the present day and their impending emergence from hiatus to perform at this year’s 15th anniversary shows for Bird’s Robe in December.

The episode features commentary from sleepmakeswaves, Caspian, We Lost The Sea, Solkyri, Closure in Moscow, Anubis, Dumbsaint, Captain Kickarse and the Awesomes, Mish, God Is An Astronaut & more, along with archival footage of Meniscus performing around the world. Bird’s Robe Director Mike Solo says:

As promised, this documentary is not just the story of Bird’s Robe, but the stories of the artists involved.

Meniscus are one of the most beloved artists in the Bird’s Robe family and I’m so proud to share their story and their music as part of our journey in video form.

You only have to watch a few minutes of the episode to see how much they mean to so many people. With the Bird’s Robe birthday shows just around the corner, it’s a great time to get excited for one of the most epic bands we’ve ever seen.
