Full Lineups & Set Times Announced for hubris Tour

Switzerland's most famous post-rock group HUBRIS return to Australia, kicking off their tour this weekend in Melbourne in Brisbane.

The band are known for their intense and powerful live sound, coupled with glittering melodies and memorable arrangements. This is their second tour of Australia and first full national tour, following a successful 2019 visit which saw them sell out shows on the east coast.

Full lineups and play times for each show have now been released.


SATURDAY 18 NOVEMBER - MELBOURNE - HOWLER

Saturday 18 November at Howler will see hubris. co-headline with psych-rock legends MUSHROOM GIANT who are celebrating the release of their new album 'In A Forest' as well as a successful European debut at Dunk Festival in Belgium earlier this year. Sydney's theremin-fuelled experimental quartet SVNTAX ERROR will join (also Dunk Festival alumni) with material from their new album 'The Vanishing Existence. Melbourne locals ALL IS VIOLENT & OCEANLORD bring their heavy atmospheric sounds to complement a massive lineup.

SUNDAY 19 NOVEMBER - BRISBANE - BLACK BEAR LODGE

Sunday 19 November in Brisbane will see hubris. join Brisbane legends HAZARDS OF SWIMMING NAKED, who will be playing their final show with departing guitarist Michael 'Mikey' Gagen, as well as their first reunion show with original guitarist Christopher 'Chrispy' Lait (Osaka Punch). Mikey was Chrispy's replacement when he originally left the group, so there's a wonderful poetry and symmetry to the exchange. KODIAK EMPIRE will bring their expansive prog to the lineup as well, celebrating their new album 'The Great Acceleration.'

Thursday 23 November at the Factory Floor will see hubris. play again with SVNTAX ERROR as well as the lush ambient progressive jazz of CLAYHANDS, whose performances are a rare highlight. They will draw material from their acclaimed debut record 'Is This Yes?' as a basis for their flowing improvisational arrangements.

FRIDAY 24 NOVEMBER - MELBOURNE - NORTHCOTE SOCIAL CLUB

Friday 24 November see hubris. joining a mammoth lineup for a second show in Melbourne. TREEBEARD celebrate their signing to Bird's Robe and re-release of their debut 'Nostalgia' with their shoegaze-meets-post-rock compositions. Sydney veterans SOLKYRI celebrate 10 years since their debut album 'Are You My Brother?' and their first Melbourne show in 3 years, as well as first shows since returning from multiple European tours alongside We Lost The Sea in 2022 and 2023. MYRIAD DRONE will also celebrate joining the Bird's Robe family and the forthcoming re-release of their 'Arka Morgana' debut record in Europe.
